The Gallopers
Ahh the Gallopers... one of my favorite rides. Last weekend I was performing magic and foolery at a venue in Kent. I worked with a different stilt walker every day and made lots of people laugh and smile with a combo of abstract balloon modeling and some spellbinding magic. Here I am riding a stunning mare while my friend rides a large cock.

Row row row yer Boat!
What a classic... went rowing for the first time yesterday and after getting the gig on the water and rowing out with five girls and a pilot we were hit by a flash flood thunderstorm! The lifeboat came out and we had to row back to shore in torrential rain and then get the gig back onto the trailer! Put a whole new twist on the rhyme, row row row your boat!
Sunday Drive with Woofkin
When the sun is out and its a Sunday what a perfect excuse to take the woofkin on an adventure onto the moors to see what we can find. After wolfing down a roast dinner and a few of the local beverages we started our quest. We didn't get very far and I ended up sleeping in my hammock while Tess found a tennis ball in the hedge and ripped it to bits!
Meadow Madness
Had a Magical day in Reading for a festival called Meadow Madness where I performed a magic show for the masses and did a little hypnosis that went a little wrong in the right kind of way... ish. After I had managed to loose the angry mob I fled for the train station back to good ol' Devon and in my haste managed to leave my bag on the train with my camera, ipod, diary, shades and a banana inside! Luck was on my side and it was found and bought back for me, Phew!

Moorland Morris Mayhem!
Ahhhhhh! Missed my alarm clock and managed to whizz up to the moors to catch one of the Morris Dancers who had been dancing at Haytor Rock to celebrate the first day of Summer. The ancient Celts and Saxons celebrated May 1st as Beltane or the day of fire. Bel was the Celtic god of the sun. Sadly I missed the dancing and the crew was just leaving on its way to celebrate a weekend of dancing at the Sweeps festival in Kent.
I was too late to collect the film crew who were gonna film it all properly but I had my pocket camera handy so I shot what I could... sorry about the wind!

A new friend visits the garden!
Just before 10am i looked out the window and thought i could see a strange looking dog in the distance... I soon realised it wasn't a dog and grabbed my camera! Now i'm just waiting to see if one of those big cats pays me a visit too.

Dublin Crew
Just returned from a quick jaunt to see the Dublin Crew. Jody was in her first play and bought the house down. I watched Gemma play football in the freezing cold (she was one of only two girls playing) I was totally thrashed on the Wii but had a little revenge on the pool table. Spent 15 euros winning a Marge Simpson from one of those grabber machines and wrote 3 poems at the airport while waiting for my plane.

Capturing the Moon
Here it appears that I have captured the moon. It is in fact an optical illusion and by the use of trick photography it only appears that I have it in my hands. This was taken in Dartington near Totnes moments before I was witness to the worst theatrical performance I have ever seen about man's mission to the moon itself. I tried desperatly to fall asleep during the performance but was jogged by my friend Dan who has had a large cup of coffee before we went in.
EQUINOX FIRE
On Saturday I joined a couple of friends for thirteen circles around the fire combined with some shamanic chanting to welcome the new season, Spring. It was freezing and the wind kept on blowing the smoke of the fire into my eyes. In the end I decided to go and scavenge for chips which I found in a chip shop and ate by the fire putting up with smoke.

My First Car!
The Smallest Horse in the World?
I spotted this horse in 1998 and have been hunting them ever since with no luck whatsoever. But here is the proof that the smallest horse in the world once freely roamed about the moor and could now be extinct. I'm not suprised though. If I hadn't been in a two seater car this little horsey would have been well and truly rustled! If anyone has any information that may lead to the safe capture of one of these seemingly mythical creatures I will handsomley pay!

DC and the Fox
Double Cool and the Fox pose for some magazine for the rich and famous... moments after the second shot was taken the helecopter landed and took them out to their private island where they have their own laws and currency. DC has recently taken up Lion taming in their own private zoo and the Fox has started playing Zebra polo. There are currently two castles on the Island with it's own airport and luxury riviera.

Horny!
The Dartmoor Beast
Ahhh, dartmoor! The new playground of the Fox. There is not a week that passes without a moorland ramble and a juicy pie at the Old Inn at Widdicombe in the Moor. There are many huge rocks called Tours scattered around and they make great climbing. At the top of this one called Haytor it's very windy but the views are absolouty stunning.

National Fancy Dress Day - April 3rd
Its a long time ago since the first National Fancy Dress Day... so I thought I would revive it! April the 3rd is now the date which will become the OFFICIAL NATIONAL FANCY DRESS DAY
Its been on my mind for a while now and was inspired by watching people wear the same things everyday with no individuality. People usually wear Fancy Dress for charity or to a party... now they have a day to enjoy wearing crazy outfits, just because. Well why not eh? At least it will brighten up my birthday! :o)

Oh la la!
Just returned from a few days in La Provance de France. The aeroplane took three attempts to land in severe stormy weather conditions and there was a moment when life looked a little bleak but after crash landing all was fine! I was staying in a 1000 year old Chateaux which has been under both French and English command! An amazing place, it is filled to the brim with strange and unusual artifacts including this crocodile whic was stolen by theives and mysteriously returned months later.
Uncle Rob's day out!
Here are three of my Neices on Brittas Bay beach, in Ireland, where we spent quite some time collecting shells and stones. We ate grown up meals for lunch and then off to the cinema to watch Enchanted. We managed to spill popcorn everywhere but that always happens to me. They have all become excellent at pool since Santa bought a table down the chimney!

Happy New Year from Fox Manor
Wishing you all a very Happy and Prosporous 2008... Good luck with any resolutions you may have. I've done the smoking one save the odd Cigar and the occasional pipe. It seems the government is making it easier to quit due to the ban although I fear with all new the restrictions and bans being inforced it may just be a matter of time before human beings are, themselves, banned from existance! Personaly I prefer living in the "Olden Days" with a glass of Sherry, some chestnuts and the occasional ghost popping in for a wee spot of Wooooooing :o)
Merry Christmas
With candy canes and wooden balls and underneath a mountain of toys its a thrill to see for all who come, there's something there for everyone! I wasn't going to have tree but when I said this to my Angel she flew down and made it happen causing quite a stir in the local area (It's not often they see angels around here) It's 9 ft tall and is standing very proud in a window bay that seems to have been specially made for the job. Wishing you all a wonderful festive time full of big fat stockings and Xtra helpings of everything X
The Fabulous Flutterbee Outfit
Cristmas is a busy time of year for most people including Elves and Pixies. I have many diffrent guises but this one is my favorate at this time of year. Made with much love and magic over 23 moons by none other than the now Infamous Pirate of the Seas, Flutterbee the First. Many have been entrances by its flashing lights and pretty colours and some will never be the same again. It's been a wonderful month and I have entertained folk from all angles of life. From a party of 2000 Girls at Pasha to a small gathering of Millionaires in Devon. A few nights ago I was asked to produce two Diamond rings for a Silver Wedding Party... when the pound coin the wife was holding turned into a 25 diamond ring the atmosphere was pure magic... the perfect time to dissappear!

A Victorian Christmas
Last week I worked three days at a Victorian Christmas Fair in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The atmosphere was magical with hundreds of people dressed up in traditional costume. The streets were filled with kids playing traditional games and horses, penny farthings, roast chestnut vendors, marching bands, mulled wine shops, old wenches, tramps, punch and Judy, a clockwork soldier and even Queen Victoria made a few appearences! The weather was really bad at times but there was a great indoor market which made a perfect place to shelter and pick a few pockets. I bought a walking cane which is also three flutes and a hollow book to keep treasure in! :o)

Bella Italia
This week I flew to Italy between jobs and caught up on the last 8 years with my God Brother Ali. I flew with Air France and missed my transfer at Charles De Gaul airport as their plane came in late so spent 6 hours kicking my heels about the place. I was sooo tempted to buy a PSP! We played lots of Golf in Italy on a fabulous course and were very well matched (see photo) I returned to the UK only to discover that my car had been the victim of a hit and run, probably a big lorry judgeing by the rip down the side! Had an interesting job in Reading last night working with Sigfried the singing Reindeer and a Christmas tree and a Fairy on stilts... !

Black Bella
Ahh, the country life! Hacking over the Moors, drinking Sherry and shooting Peasants on Sundays are among my many new found hobbies. Here is a photo of me mounted upon my noble stead, the infamous Black Bella - NightMare of the Moor. She can go from walk to gallop in the blink of an eye, out run any farmer on a quad bike, play poker terribly well and even fly if she wants too! Tally Ho!
